Resource Conservation Awards
Each year, the Muskingum SWCD seeks out a committee made up of representatives from local civic organizations to put together a list of farms for the Agricultural Award, and a list of businesses and/or individuals for our Non-Agricultural Resource Conservation Award. Our Conservation Education Outreach Award is given to unique individuals/organizations that strive to increase public awareness on conservation.
The awards were implemented to recognize local agricultural producers, businesses, groups or individuals that represent sound use and protection of our natural resources and the environment. This award helps raise awareness that such an award exists and also help to promote sound resource conservation.
